Interesting look, promising concept, new functions. The new Cruiser 32 from Bavaria is designed to surprise and impress at the same time. At the world premiere in Holland, dealers and customers were able to get an idea of the new little boat.

With the launch of the new Cruiser 55 (test in YACHT 12/2009), Bavaria Yachtbau caused a sensation at the beginning of the year and at the same time laid the foundation for the new model series. A clear, independent design language with many innovative design aspects characterises the new Bavaria line, which was conceived in collaboration with Farr Yacht Design and BMW Group Designworks USA, a subsidiary of the BMW Group.

The Cruiser 32 is now set to replace the previous entry-level model 31 Cruiser. The hull is slightly longer and wider than its predecessor and is designed to offer more volume below deck with a higher freeboard. The foredeck cabin of the predecessor model, which is already quite spacious by comparison, will be even larger on the new boat, and the wet room will also be significantly more spacious. Modelled on the Cruiser 55, the smallest boat in the range will also have a completely new, airy and modern interior design. The buyer also has the choice of interior fittings in mahogany, oak or walnut. The mast will be higher and sportier. This is also supported by the 105 per cent overlapping genoa. The bathing platform can only be folded out manually, no longer electrically.

Bavaria has set the price for the Cruiser 32 even lower than that of its predecessor. The entry-level model from Bavaria is available ready to sail for just 64,140 euros. The boat will celebrate its German premiere at the Interboot trade fair in Friedrichshafen (19-27 September).
